Laurence Guyon was a top level competitor in the 90’s. She is known for having won the famed Masters de Serre­Chevalier et d’Acro in 1995 and was vice world champion the same year. Still an active climber, she regularly ticks 8a+ (5.13c) onsights and is redpointing 8c (5.14b).

The co­author (with Olivier) of Escalade et Performance, she is also the former editor in chief at EscaladeMag. Today she has taken up a central position at Fabrique Verticale with the objective of sharing her experience, training techniques and sources of inspiration with all climbers who are searching for progression while still having fun.

Laurence also writes her own personal blog where she combines humorous literature and climbing.
