More about Sport climber magazine

After doing some research on Indoor Rock Climbing, the chief editor of this magazine have discovered 3 things:

1. There is very limited media coverage of the top elite, youth athletes let alone those who participate in qualifying events, regionals, divisionals and nationals.

2. Climbers and Parents find that there has not been a “clear path” established to compete in college, Worlds or Olympics or a defined level of talent it takes to get there.

3. The funding and financial support of US athletes by sanctioning bodies, corporations and individuals other than the parents, is limited compared to other countries around the world.

“Well, this brings me to my vision. To create a platform to highlight North American competitive youth climbers. And to create a media hub that promotes these incredible athletes, coaches, route setters, gyms and volunteers. In other words, I want to help take the sport of climbing to a whole new level for Young American Competitive Climbers”.
